Decorating A Sunroom... With The Professional Touch

As with many home projects, the decorator's first challenge was designing a window treatment that would filter the sun yet preserve as much of the natural light as possible. Next on the agenda for this empty- nester couple was salvaging some of the furniture from their previous home to be re-used in their new multi-windowed sunroom. One final request, no television needed or wanted to interrupt the client's vision of a peaceful haven.

THE PROFESSIONAL TOUCH...
The decorator tailored her design for the three walls of windows around 4" Silhouettes that served to combat the strong sun, preserve the wood floors from harmful rays, and maintain the lovely view. Above she installed attractive dark woven woods valances with accented with palm-leaf patterned fabric ties. The fabric was repeated in the border on the area rug.
When it came to color selections the decorator kept them very soft so as to complement the outdoors, but added slices of mango for a bit of zip. Tables from the client's former home worked well with the new comfy upholstered sofa and chairs.
The homeowners now have a soothing environment for reading and enjoying the beautiful vista, and ample seating for when they entertain family and friends. Don't you deserve an equally pleasant place to rejuvenate your body and soul? Call today for a complimentary consultation and let one of Decorating Den's interior decorators create a personal haven for you.
