Decorating Den Interiors Heads to
New York City for its
27th Annual Dream Room Contest!

Decorating Den Interiors, the largest home decorating franchise company in North America, will be hosting its 27th annual "Dream Room Design Contest" in New York City on March 23, 2011. The contest showcases professionally photographed before and after photos of rooms that have been designed and submitted by Decorating Den's interior decorators. Each room makeover has its own unique story.

Decorating Den's executive team extends invitations to a select group of industry leaders, including editors, producers, radio hosts, and writers from the nation's top media outlets to serve among an elite panel of judges. Judges are asked to preview and vote on the various home makeovers, all of which are showcased in an art gallery format.

In order to participate, each of the franchise owners and decorators are required to submit before and after photos, a brief write up about their clients, and professionally photographed images falling under the following categories:

1. Living Room
2. Kitchen
3. Bedroom
4. Dining Room
5. Bathroom
6. Children's Room
7. Commercial Room (i.e. doctor's office, etc.)
8. Misc. (includes unique outdoor areas, dens, etc.)

Based on the votes of our highly esteemed media judges, first, second and third place winners are selected in each room category. Then, all first place winners are voted on with the overall winner being named the "Decorator of the Year," a highly coveted title.
